Route through the Swings of Mes�o Frio. Let's see them?

The Swing of São Silvestre, a twenty-minute drive from the accommodation, LAS houses, is located in the heart of Porta do Douro at an altitude of 530 meters, with an unobstructed panoramic view, and is also a favorite spot to enjoy the sunset -of the sun.

It was built by employees of the municipality of Mesão Frio, with the aim of attracting visitors and boosting the municipality's tourist offer.

In addition to contemplating the landscape from the swing, the location is ideal and advisable for walks in nature.

Swing of Senhora da Guia (Resende)

The Swing of Senhora da Guia, is located in the parish of São João da Fontoura, in Resende, better known as 'the Parish of Cherry'.

The swing has a panoramic view of the Douro River and nature.

According to the local mayor, the idea came from an executive program in which used and abandoned wooden poles are reused or recycled, building equipment like these swings with them.

This swing was inserted at the beginning of the pedestrian route known and sought after by nationals and foreigners, known as 'Rota do Cerejais'.

According to the mayor, 'we promote and publicize our land, our people, our endogenous products and our region'.

Avões Swing or Association Desportiva de Avões Swing (Lamego)

The Swing of Associação Desportiva de Avões is located in Avões and allows you to enjoy the beautiful landscape over the city and the Douro river.

The initiation of the installation of the swing was by the Associação Desportiva de Avões, as the name indicates and it has a panoramic view of the Douro river.

One of the most beautiful and well-maintained installations, with a rug and places to sit, the swing is decorated with flowers and makes a connection with childhood and fairy tales.

Cabril's Swing (Resende)

The Swing of Cabril is located in the parish of Felgueiras. From this place you can also see Barreiro.

This small village is located right at the foot of Mount S. Cristóvão, where you can enjoy a beautiful landscape, take pictures and follow the forest road that connects the Cabril swing with the Feirão swing.

Feirão Swinging Chair (Resende)

The Feirão Swing, located in Resende, is the first swing installed in the municipality.

The initiative is supported by the municipality of the Union of Parishes of Felgueiras and Feirão. The swing overlooks the parish of Felgueiras andFeirão.

The President of the Parish aims to "create a network of swings in the union of parishes" and boost the tourist influx in the municipality.

Christo Rei Swing (Tarouca)

The Cristo Rei Swing is located in the municipality of Tarouca, district of Viseu, at the foot of the Cristo Rei monument and has an excellent panoramic view.

This point of view is a favorite point for photography lovers and you can enjoy the beautiful landscape.

The visit to the point can last a maximum of two hours, enough time to visit the monument and take pictures.

The swing has space for only one person to swing at a time and it is advisable to visit early to avoid the queues that the monument attracts.
