This swing, the Boneca swing, seems to be a great opportunity to come back to our childhood.

Located in Sebolido, Penafiel, Porto district, in the Boneca Miradouro, this so often photographed swing has returned in 2020 to help us dream and appreciate the Portuguese nature.

In Serra da Boneca, less than one hour away from Porto, you can go back to your childhood and swing carefreely with the wonderful Vale do Douro landscape as a background.

The swing is at a miradouro that seems to be coming out of the fairy tales, where children can dream and imagine and parents can be children again.

The swing is at the end of an easy but rewarding walk with an idyllic view of the Douro river.

The loop is about 1 km from the street where someone can go by car and it is completely safe for the entire family since safety ropes are installed during the whole path.

Nevertheless, it is a great moment to point out that the path is exclusively pedestrian.
