The Cacela Fortress, also referred to as the Cacela Fortress, in the Algarve, is located in the village of Cacela-Velha, parish of Vila Nova de Cacela, municipality of Vila Real de Santo António, in the district of Faro, Portugal.
In a dominant position overlooking the mouth of the Formosa estuary, it is currently included in the classified heritage of Cacela Velha, considered one of the most important architectural complexes of the Algarve.
