The name "Entre Serras" derives precisely from the location of the panoramic swing, at the crossing of 5 mountain ranges: Serra da Estrela, Serra do Caramulo, Serra do Montemuro, Serra da Lousã, Serra do Maridão, Serra do Açor and Serra do Buçaco.

Surrounded by unparalleled natural beauty, the Panoramic Swing Between Ranges is ideal for hiking and cycling enthusiasts eager to discover the many charms of a deeply rich natural setting.

As you explore this region, you can stay at Chão do Rio - Aldeia Tourism, located in the charming village of Travancinha, in the heart of the Serra da Estrela Natural Park.

Chão do Rio consists of 6 comfortable stone houses with thatched roofs - very similar to the hobbits' little houses! - holders of a beautiful location around a biological lagoon that evokes the mythical lagoons of Serra da Estrela.
