The structure of this swing shapes the initials of the village's name, forming a harmonious set and giving it great meaning.
From this place we can admire the beautiful village of Vilar Maior, an old medieval town, with a rich historical heritage of which stands out its imposing castle, a castle that is part of our Route of the Five Medieval Villages.
We can also from this swing spot the city of Guarda and the Serra da Estrela.
The idea of this swing came from Muralhas de Vilar Maior Association and its main objective is the contemplation of the surrounding landscape, the place also invites visitors to stay to watch the stunning sunset that can be seen from the same place.
