The Church of São Julião Setúbal is a magnificent church built in the mid-13th century, relocated at the end of the 18th century after the 1755 earthquake. Between 1516 and 1520 it was remodelled by King D. Manuel I and, in 1570, because of the great earthquake, it was again rebuilt.
The Church of São Julião has beautiful treasures inside, and has been classified as a national monument since 1910. This church that dominates the horizon of the city can be easily reached by car. It boasts beautiful gold and a magnificent arch at the main entrance.
