Located in the city center, the Ramada Alta Chapel, or Lord of Calvary, is a small neoclassical-inspired church built in the 18th century. Equipped with a bell tower, it was restored in 1883 and was awarded the title of Royal Church by King D. Carlos in 1904.

This chapel, located near the Rotunda da Boavista, is a peaceful place to contemplate the panorama of the city, even more impressive when visited at night. It also houses within its structure a chapel pleading for Our Lady of Carmo.
