“Earth and Sea”, the name says it all, this magnificent swing, built on a high point, offers a 360 degree view whose greatness allows you to reach several mountains and even reach the Atlantic Ocean.
Between the mountains, looking east we see the Freita, Gralheira and Arada, to the north the Caramulo.
On days with good visibility, looking towards Aveiro, the Atlantic Ocean appears imposing with its endless blue.
The swing is located in Ribeiradio, a locality of the Oliveira de Frades municipality that has skillfully exploited the heights of the territory. In addition to “Earth and Sea”, there are still two more structures: “Rio Swing” and “Mountain Swing”. All together they compose the Ribeiradio Swing Route.
Nature is splendid, the landscapes are excellent and this beautiful parish of the Lafões region also has a vast archaeological heritage, highlighting the traces of ancient wall lines, marks of the presence of the Celts and their culture in the Iberian Peninsula.
