Lousã Rock Village Casal Novo

It is a small and partially restored village, which is practically uninhabited. It is included in the Serra da Lousã Site of Community Importance, in the Natura 2000 network, located on the slopes of the Serra da Lousã, on the way to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Piety. The village is surrounded by a forest, where deer and boars can be observed, and from its threshing floor the town of Lousã and the Castle of Lousã can be seen. It is part of the PR5 (Route of the Highlanders) terrestrial route.
